GNUS.ai Platform Status

Status date: October 8, 2026

This page distinguishes completed software implementation from public network activation and the applications being prepared for launch. It is the current release-status reference for docs.gnus.ai.

Current status

Area Status Meaning
SuperGenius mainnet implementation Complete The core mainnet implementation is finished, as confirmed by project leadership. This is not a claim of a public launch, third-party security certification, or performance at production scale.
SuperGenius public mainnet Not launched Public activation is intentionally held until initial AI applications and integrations are ready.
Genius Cognitive System (GCS) Application and integration work in progress GCS supplies the cognitive architecture: Semantic Core, Expert Language Models (ELMs), routing, governed memory (GAML), and verification. A documented subsystem does not by itself establish deployment status.
Genius AI Boss and other launch applications Launch preparation in progress Application readiness and integration are prerequisites for the coordinated public launch.
GNUS token contracts on EVM networks Separate from SuperGenius mainnet activation Deployed EVM contracts must not be confused with activation of the native SuperGenius public mainnet. See Contracts.

Why mainnet has not launched

The original Q2 2026 public-launch target passed. That date is not an outstanding deadline for finishing the mainnet implementation. GNUS.ai chose to coordinate public activation with GCS, Genius AI Boss, and other applications so the network can launch with useful workloads rather than as infrastructure alone.

No revised public-launch date is announced here. Integration, validation, deployment operations, and application readiness remain distinct from mainnet code completion.

What “complete” does and does not establish

  • Implementation complete means the mainnet code has reached the project's stated implementation milestone.
  • Publicly launched means that the native public mainnet has been activated for its intended users. This has not happened.
  • Audited, benchmarked, and production-proven require separate evidence: audit reports with scope and dates, measured performance on named hardware, cross-device verification tests, and actual deployment results. Implementation completion alone does not establish these.

For technical readers, distinguish three responsibilities:

  1. GCS determines what cognitive work to perform, which experts or tools to use, what memory and policy apply, and how answers are checked.
  2. GNUS / SuperGenius supplies the optional distributed execution, peer networking, processing, trust, and settlement infrastructure.
  3. Products such as Genius AI Boss connect users and business workflows to those capabilities. A request can also execute locally or within a private deployment; it need not use the public swarm.

See the Master Platform Architecture, AI Systems, and the detailed GCS architecture.

Evidence boundary: This status page records the stated project release decision. It does not assert current public node count, live revenue, independent runtime audits, specific ELM benchmarks, or a launch date.
